How to Delete Your Account
At Baby Journal, we understand that your privacy and control over your data are of utmost importance. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so easily through our app. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your account:
Step-by-Step Guide to Delete Your Account
1. Open the Baby Journal App:
Launch the Baby Journal app on your device.
2. Navigate to Settings:
Tap on the profile icon or the menu button to access the app's main menu. Select "Settings" from the menu options.
3. Scroll to the Bottom:
In the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. Delete Account:
Tap on the "Delete Account" button.
5. Confirm Deletion:
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete your account. Read the prompt carefully to understand that this action is irreversible and will permanently remove all your data from Baby Journal. If you are sure, tap "Confirm" to proceed.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
- Permanent Deletion: Once you confirm the deletion, your account and all associated data, including journals, photos, videos, and growth tracking records, will be permanently deleted from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
- Immediate Effect: The deletion process is immediate. You will no longer be able to access your account or any data stored in it.
- Family Members' Access: All family members invited to your children's journals will lose access to the shared memories and data related to your account.
